The Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in Goa is based on 20 years of combined experience of our teachers, Yogi Chetan Mahesh, Deveshwar, Ayushi and Rajesh, teaching prenatal Yoga, training Yoga teachers, and serving as a birth and postpartum doula. The training requires significant dedication to completing assigned readings, participating in discussions and practice, and much more. The training runs for 6 days from the 25th to the 30th of every month. There are CEU credits available to Yoga Alliance registered teachers. Not only is being a prenatal Yoga specialist a rewarding career, but because over 80% of Yoga practitioners worldwide are women, all Yoga instructors must explore ways to support optimal reproductive health for all their students. The skills you learn in this training program will inform your teaching, and the program itself is rigorous and demands personal and professional transformation. Over these five days, you will learn how Yoga can support women trying to conceive and how to address common concerns, discomforts, and risk factors throughout the three trimesters of pregnancy. Trainees will also develop the skills to work with clients privately using the knowledge of Ayurveda and the subtle body systems.

Pre- and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training
Whether you are looking for a certification course to teach prenatal Yoga or are just looking to further your education, this intensive will cover a wide variety of topics, including Yoga poses and modifications, anatomy, pelvic health, pranayama, birth preparation, visualisation, nutrition, optimal birth positioning, pain techniques for labor, group and community support and the postpartum period. Learn how to support an ideal pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.
The prenatal courses offer a unique, comprehensive approach that combines fundamental knowledge of anatomy and pregnancy with the beauty and depth of Yoga philosophy and holistic health. It offers instruction grounded in anatomy and classic Yoga philosophy, with ample childbirth education and group support. The result is a class that offers the prenatal student not only birth preparation and relief through Yoga, but also emotional and community support.

Yoga Alliance Requirements
To be eligible for the RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) designation through the Yoga Alliance, you must satisfy the following requirements:
✓ Complete a 200-hour training program.
✓ Complete an 85-hour training program.
✓ Have at least 30 hours of teaching experience in prenatal Yoga since completing a training with an RPYS, either group or private instruction.

Course Curriculum
This intellectual approach to Yoga as a science requires self-study and an investigation of the cultural, social, and economic values we hold around fertility, women’s health, and reproduction so that we can teach from our hearts. We will explore how to create dynamic lesson plans, work with beginner and advanced students, learn partner poses, and discuss the basics of postnatal Yoga. Become an expert in stress management techniques and self-care practices for the expectant woman, deepen your understanding of business and marketing, and leave with techniques to elevate your teaching from good to great. Through this training, you will learn more from your peers, strengthen your class sequences, and build your confidence as a Teacher. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of this training.

Q2. I’m not an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). Can I Still Take This Training?
A. This training program has no prerequisites. Anyone can enrol.
Q3. What if I don’t like the course? Can I get a refund?
A. There are no refunds. Once you are enrolled, if you are unhappy for any reason, we will do everything possible to fix the problems and create an individual plan that works for your needs.
Q4. Does this online training allow me to register with Yoga Alliance as a RPYT?
A. Yes, after completing this training, you can register yourself with Yoga Alliance as an RPYT.
