YOGI CHETAN MAHESH Experienced Yoga Teachers in Goa

Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji was born in a Vedic family, a family in which all the members used to chant Vedic mantras and practice yoga daily. In childhood, he was greatly influenced by his father and brother, who initially taught yoga to him. Later, he learned yoga asana with Yogi Balmukund Ji, pranayama with Swami Vijayanada Ji, philosophy from Swami Sivananda Ji Maharaj, Swami Dayananda Ji, and Osho Ji, and samadhi with Swami Chinmayananda Ji and Piolet Baba Ji. In 1984, while studying, he became the yoga sports champion in Haryana Province.

Ankur is a free spirit and spends most of his time doing multiple yoga asanas. As a lover of movement, Ankur is passionate about his practice. He practices yoga and studies with hand balancers, ropes, and contortionists to expand his knowledge and explore his body’s capabilities. He practices both Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga, as he enjoys traditional and spontaneous practice.

Ankur is a traditional yoga instructor by the Association for Yoga & Meditation. He is a practitioner and student before becoming an instructor. In that way, he believes his personal experience with the practice is the best way to reach out to people and share his knowledge.

Rajesh’s first yoga experience was at A Gentle Way. A little over ten years ago, his mother brought him to his first yoga class to help him heal from an injury. Since then, he has practised many different styles of yoga, most of which focused solely on asana (poses). While he enjoyed the physical aspects of these classes, Rajesh always felt something was missing from the spiritual experience he’d only felt when practising at A Gentle Way.

Rajesh didn’t hesitate to apply for the opportunity to enrol in Aalamba Yoga Teacher Training. While his primary physical background is in Yoga Philosophy, he has always used yoga’s calming spiritual practices to counterbalance the intensity of philosophy. This balance of energies is apparent in his Functional Movement, Hatha Yoga, where he teaches a breakdown of the asanas while guiding students into a deeper universal awareness.

Dr. Sumit Sharma is an expert in the field of Physiotherapy. His passion in life is to uncover the applications of medical mysteries that exist in the practice of Yoga and Vedic Rituals. Sumit is a native of Rishikesh. Since his childhood, he has been inclined toward the practice of Spirituality. His nature of serving society motivated him to pursue a noble profession. He realized that his area of interest is orthopedic.

He studied at a medical university and secured a master’s in physical therapy. To make his treatments effective, he started reconciling the techniques of Pilates, yoga, and other established sciences; and since then, there has been no looking back.

Dr. Gaurav Agrawal was born in the world capital of yoga, “Rishikesh,” and is a scholar who academically completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and studied the philosophy of Patanjali Yogasutras. He has been teaching yoga philosophy for the last five years in different yoga schools in Rishikesh. According to his students, he is very soft-spoken, kind, attentive, and eager to answer queries in the class. He is one of the best philosophy teachers in Rishikesh, who makes philosophy lectures exciting and straightforward to understand. He usually picks up simple stories to make his lectures appealing and easily transferable.

After completing all the program requirements, including attending all scheduled classes & workshop hours, practicing teaching a Yoga class, reading the original books, handouts and materials, homework, and the practical and written exam, you will receive your Yoga Alliance accredited Certificate evidencing your training at the 200 hours Level.
